Ebay buyer makes horrible monitary decision
As reported by Joystiq, an in-box copy of Earthbound for the Super Nintendo just sold on ebay for $1,025.01 And while I understand loving the game, why not wait until it finally comes out on virtual console, buy and play it on there, and then pocket the difference. I can't understand why fanatical fandom would drive you to spend that much when you eventually will be able to play the game on Virtual Console for $8. It's a bunch of cardboard and a user manual: no need to spend $1017.01 on it. It's not like it's your Mother: why the emotional attachment? [Horrible Earthbound joke: Anyone? Anyone?]
