Arkham Horror is one of my favorite games [as you may know]. This is what players' characters look like: cardboard guys on plastic stands.
Well now the folks over at Fantasy Flight Games are offering to let you replace your investigators with little miniatures like these. How much? 4 bucks per guy. People at GenCon were buying complete sets of all of the investigators. Arkham Horror has 48 investigators which means they sank $192 into little guys that don't add any new content to the game other than giving you something cool to look at. The base game is only $40 on Amazon. You could buy 4 friends a copy of the game and buy them dinner instead.
I tell you, give people the opportunity to show how much they love something by buying it all over again and people will do it.
