So you've heard of Kinect, right? It's the new xbox thingy that tracks your movements by having a camera pointed at you so that it can translate your flailing into on screen dancing and motion control.
If you look at a room with night vision goggles on, you can actaully see how it has blanketed the room in little points that it uses to map out the room.
Someone called around 3:00 yesterday while I was out and talked to my boss to put in a work order saying one of her closets was off the tracks. That resident called this morning right when we opened to complain they they didn't come right out and fix it that day.
"Every time I open the closet, I hit my head," she said
"I know your work order was put in, and they're not always able to stop projects they're working on right away which is why we say everything will be fixed within 24 business hours as long as we don't need to order a part."
"They were at my neighbor's apartment, I don't know why they didn't just come by then." [I later looked this up: this, as far as I can tell, isn't true]
"I'm sure they'll come by to fix it today."
"I don't want to have to file suit against your apartments because every time I open my closet I hit my head."
It types out your location, you type in what you want to do, and it types back. You'll get the idea after like 10 seconds. Probably only interesting if you've played Zork
People reading this on my site (instead of RSS feed), sorry that this image breaks the tables. I'll try to post new something soon to fix it so it's not covering up all my links and stuff.
