Robin Williams Halloween Costume Ideas | comments

flubber genie patch adams jumanji good will hunting royal tennebaums
Karen as Edward Scissor Hands, Violet as Margo Tenenbaum, me as Robin Williams Movies
In 2012, I wasn't Robin Williams for Halloween, I was Robin Williams movies for Halloween. It's a pretty easy costume as far as lazy costumes go. I mostly put it together with stuff from the thrift store. Links below go to amazon pages for each movie (some like $3 or less) or to products similar to the ones I used.

Mrs. Doubtfire: Pans and thrift store sweater (no joke, by the way, I got it for 80 cents and there was a $50 price tag still on it,

Aladdin: Blue arm, gold band

Patch Adams: clown nose (also on amazon for <$2)

Good Will Hunting: A letter (hard to see) saying "it's not your fault, it's not your fault"

Jumanji: a toob/tube of animals like this one.  Also this is book remember too.

Flubber: some green play-doh

Obviously you could do other movies too. Like One Hour Photo if you have some old negatives lying around

Or if you wanted to go Dead Poets Society you could get Leaves of Grass and let everyone know what book barbaric yawp is from

Other movies to consider: Hook (go buy a pirate hook), Good Morning Vietnam (go buy army fatigues or a microphone)

Anyhow, I hope that helps if you are looking for obscure, funny, or clever costume ideas. I figured I'd put this up now so I get all the Google hits come October.
