World of Warcraft: Day 1

I was at Meijer earlier today and bought a 14 day trial DVD of World of Warcraft for 2 bucks. I'm interested to play just to poke around and see this game that people get so crazily addicted to.

After all these game patches download and install, which they've been doing for like a half hour.

edit: you gotta be kidding me. I just finished one update and now another 495MB download has to install

edit: now a 389MB update.

edit: 1.75 MB download followed by a 1.84 MB download followed by a 40MB download

edit: ok done. but now it's too late to start playing.
