When people forget to hang up / unintentional voicemails
A post on Not Always Right reminded me of how much I like it when people forget to hang up the phone.
I had someone leave me a message once on my voicemail that, after saying goodbye was immediately followed by a "HEYYYYY!" to a friend that had just showed up at the callers door. I found out that the caller was doing ok and that she was glad that she had a supportive friend.
I also get these weird voicemails from time to time at work that seem to be a recording of a town-hall-style meeting. It's sped up to save time and seems to be a Q&A that's somehow related to the government and how they handle the war. It's really hard to make out.
And of course I get voicemails that are just the beep.....beep.....beep of a wrong-number fax machine trying to find a friend.
