I beg to differ

Today a recent move-in came in the office saying that he wasn't able to pay rent on time because I hadn't told him what the rent amount was going to be when he moved in.

So I pulled out a copy of the hand written reminder letter I had sent him that told him how to pay rent, when to pay rent, and the amount to pay rent.

(We still waived the late fee this one time)
