B-17 Over Ann Arbor

The past two days I've seen this B-17 flying low over Ann Arbor. This is the Yankee Lady which is apparently at the Willow Run Airport.

That's my photo, but you can see a whole lot of better photos of it if you just do a google image search for "yankee lady".  Apparently this particular plane in was in the movie Tora Tora Tora

This is indeed the "Yankee Lady" the best restored B-17G in the world...one of 10 flying. To book a ride, call 734 483-4030 and ask for Dave Wright. top
