Fun Fun Fun (if you like playing apartment roulette)

In this day and age, it amazes me that there are people in their 20's that come into my office who tell me that their method for apartment hunting is to drive around and stop at whatever apartments they come to. This is their chosen method rather than just typing in "apartments near [a city or address]" (say...Kokomo) into google maps and you can find whatever you need.

Some people that subscribe to this methodology just came in. They had a dog and we don't accept dogs, so after a few minutes I had to send them on their way to stumble about town. There is an easier way than just hoping you fall through the threshold of your next apartment.

[In other news I have now learned that Kokomo (in addition to a being a place where we can get there fast and take it slow) has really cheap rents and has an apartment community named "The Legends of Wildcat Creek Apartments" which is perhaps the best apartment name ever.]

Very clever, Mike. I'm reading the title of this post to the tune of "Fun fun fun 'til her daddy takes the t bird awaaay". And then you have the Kokomo reference in there - very nice. Incidentally - were you talking about Kokomo, Indiana? top

Yeah, I was looking for places to link to a google map of that were like "Anytown, USA" or "Citysburg, Washington" but couldn't find any, so I just scrolled around until I ran into Kokomo and then used that in the google maps link. top
