Sometimes, things that were not books become books. If you want to read books set in the world of Magic: The Gathering, Dungeon and Dragons, or Arkham Horror, you can. I can understand why these things exist given the flavorful world each of the games take place in.

But you know what board game does not need a book? Settlers of Catan [Amazon Link]. I assume it's just a regular story with the Catan license tacked on to it.
